KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 02, 2024: The Karimnagar Commissionerate of Police had inaugurated a dedicated Cyber Crime police station on the premises of police Commissionerate in Karimnagar town on Tuesday.
The newly created station would be headed by an ACP rank officer, Mr Narasimha Reddy as an inspector, two sub-inspectors, two head constables and eight constables. The police officials have appointed cyber warriors in each police station.
On this occasion, Commissioner of Police Abhishek Mohanty informed the people to be cautious of cyber criomes and urged them not to fall prey to their luring. He instructed the people not to share the personal information with strangers, besides, not opening spam links sent on mobile phones. Appealing the people to contact toll free number 1930 to report cybercrime, he informed the people to approach the cybercrime police station if cheated by the cyber fraudsters.
