JAGTIAL, AUGUST 06, 2025: Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau have trapped District Transport Officer Badru Naik for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 22,000 for doing an official favour to a person in his office in Jagtial town on Wednesday. Incidentally, he will be retiring from service on August 31, 2025.
Sources said that the DTO had demanded Rs 22,000 from Sashidhar for the release of caught JCB vehicle. The complainant approached the ACB, who laid the trap and caught the DTO red-handed.
