HANAMKONDA, DECEMBER 05, 2025: Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) have trapped Hanamkonda district Additional Collector and in-charge DEO Venkat Reddy for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 60,000 on Friday.
Sources said that the ACB officials caught the Additional Collector when he demanded and accepted a bribe in his chambers in the Collectorate office premises in Hanamkonda. The ACB officials said that the Additional Collector had collected the bribe amount for doing an official favour in the educational department. The officials are also grilling another official of the educational department. Further details are awaited.
