
KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 01, 2025: Renee Hospitals chairman Dr Bangari Swamy has bagged the prestigious Asia Today – Indo UK Global Health Care Leader award-2025 at a programme organised in the London Parliament in the United Kingdom on Tuesday.
Asia Today would select the best doctors providing good health services to the people and felicitate them with the Indo-UK Global Health Care Leader Award. This year, it was bagged by Dr Bangari Swamy for his relentless services to society and providing state-of-the-art medical facilities at Renee Hospital.
Dr Bangari Swamy said that the award has increased his responsibility and added that medicine is not just a profession but a social responsibility to serve society. He thanked his wife, Dr Bangari Rajani Priyadarshini, his family members and the hospital staff for their support in securing the international award.
During the past two decades, he has conducted more than 25,000 orthopaedic surgeries and helped patients. He said that he was providing 10 knee replacement surgeries in memory of his mother, Bangari Laxmi.
He also announced that they would launch the robotic knee replacement surgeries in the hospital in the month of October, which would be the first of its kind in the north Telangana region. Stating that the Karimnagar town had emerged as a health hub of Telangana after Hyderabad city, he said that the Renee hospital is fully equipped with the latest technology for the treatment of all ailments.
