Three live surgeries including robotic knee replacement would be conducted on first day of the conference for the benefit of students
First time Karimnagar Orthopaedic surgeons association (KOSA) conducting the state-conference
KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 31, 2024: Stage is all set for the ninth annual conference of Telangna Orthopaedic Surgeons Association (TOSACON) 2024 from February 1 to 4 in Karimnagar town.
For the first time, the annual conference of TOSA was being organised by the Karimnagar Orthopaedic Surgeons Association (KOSA). The conference would be conducted at V convention on the outskirts of Karimnagar town.
Disclosing this to newsmen here on Wednesday, KOSA president and TOSACON organizing secretary Dr Bangari Swamy, organizing chairman Dr Motilal, co-chairman Dr Narsimhulu, secretary Dr Vamshidhar Reddy, treasurer Vemula Chandrashekhar, scientific committee chairman Dr Venkat Reddy, co-chairman Dr Pawan Sharma, senior orthopaedicians Dr V Ram Reddy, Dr Shivakumar, Dr Chokkarapu Ramu, Dr Vamshi Chatla, Dr Venu, Dr Krishna Kunkumalla, Dr Abhilash, Dr Keerthana have released the brochures of the conference.
They said that conference would begin with the live robotic knee replacement workshop from PIMS, advanced hand’s on spine workshop live endoscopic spine surgery from CAIMS and Total Hip Anthroplasty surgery workshop from Renee hospital. Besides, there would be workshops on Pelvi Acetabular and Anthroscopy at V convention. There would be quiz competitions for the PG students also at the conference and presentation of papers on various subjects.
Stating that more than 1,000 doctors from various parts of the country have registered for their participation, they said that eminent orthopaedicians from the country would participate and deliver lecturers on various subjects and advancements as part of CME programme.
