
RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, JUNE 24, 2025: To step up the battle against drug addiction, on the occasion of International Day against Drug Abuse, an awareness seminar was organised grandly under the aegis of the NSS unit at Telangana Social Welfare Residential Women’s Degree College, located at Shatrajupalli, Vemulawada, on Tuesday.
The chief guest for the programme, Mr. Vanga Ravi, Sub-Inspector of Prohibition and Excise, Vemulawada, addressed the students and explained in detail the physical, social, and moral consequences of drug abuse. He urged the students to step forward in creating primary awareness and to stay away from harmful drug habits.
The event was attended by K Lavanya, Principal of the college, B. Sumalatha, Vice Principal, V Swapna, NSS Programme Officer, G. Swapna, NSS Advisory Council Member, along with faculty and students.
