KOCHI, (KERALA) FEBRUARY 22, 2026: Icon Star Allu Arjun has etched his name further into the annals of Telugu cinema history, securing the Best Actor (Telugu) trophy for Pushpa 2: The Rule at the 70th Filmfare Awards South. The victory, announced on February 21, 2026, marks the actor’s seventh competitive Filmfare win, bringing his total tally level with the long-standing record held by Megastar Chiranjeevi.
The win for Pushpa 2 follows the massive critical and commercial success of the Sukumar-directed sequel, which saw Allu Arjun reprise his role as the titular red-sander smuggler turned kingpin. His performance, characterized by intense physicality and a distinct dialect, has already earned him significant national acclaim, with this latest Black Lady serving as a testament to his dominance in the leading man category.

The 70th Filmfare Awards South with Kerala Tourism was held at Adlux International Convention Centre, Kochi in Kerala. The Pushpa-2 has several awards, including Best Director Sukumar, Best Music Album Devi Sriprasad.
