HYDERABAD, JANUARY 03, 2026: Rashtrapati Nilayam, the winter home of the President of India, is hosting the second edition of Udyan Utsav 2026 from January 3 to January 11, 2026, as part of ongoing efforts to promote citizen engagement and environmental awareness.
Today The festival was inaugurated by two progressive women farmers, CH. Srujana and Kosi Reddy Lavanya Ramana Reddy, symbolising the growing leadership of women in Indian agriculture in Secunderabad on Saturday. Dr Sagar Hanuman Singh, IPoS, Director General, MANAGE; Kumar Samresh, Public Relations Officer, Rashtrapati Bhavan; K. Rajani Priya, Officer, President’s Secretariat, Government of India; and Shalendra, Director, MANAGE, were present for the Inauguration.
Aligned with the President of India’s vision of transforming the President’s Estates into vibrant centres of public participation and ecological consciousness, Udyan Utsav 2026 is being organised by Rashtrapati Nilayam and anchored by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, with support from MANAGE.

The festival features 50 thematic stalls with nearly 120 exhibitors, offering a comprehensive platform for agricultural innovation, entrepreneurship, and value addition. Key attractions include the Green Knowledge Hub for the dissemination of advanced agricultural technologies; Millet Mandi and Startup Hub promoting nutritious, value-added products; Eco Bazaar showcasing organic produce, GI-tagged products, and tribal handicrafts; Plant and Produce Zone offering bio-inputs and nursery saplings; and the Farm-to-Enterprise Zone, connecting citizens directly with products from 59 Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs).
Udyan Utsav 2026 will remain open to the public free of cost from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the next nine days (January 3–11, 2026). The inauguration witnessed enthusiastic participation from school students, citizens, progressive farmers, and stakeholders from across the region.
