KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 11, 2025: The third edition of Kisan Grameen Mela will be conducted at Ambedkar Stadium in Karimnagar town from December 1 to 3, 2025, to give a fillip to the farmers to increase their income by diversified agricultural operations.
Disclosing this to newsmen in Karimnagar town on Saturday, Kisan Jagaran President and senior BJP leader P Sugunakar Rao said that the Kisan Mela is aimed at exposing the latest agricultural developments, mechanisation of farming and diversified cropping patterns to reap riches. He said that they had conducted the Kisan melas in the years 2022 and 2023 and exposed the farmers to the varied varieties of farming operations.
He said that this year’s Kisan mela would be totally different and the farmers would be exposed to the use of drones, robotics, use of latest technology, taking up diversified agricultural activities such as dairy, sheep, oil palm, vegetable, fruits etc, to help them increase their revenues.
He said that they would involve the Union and state Ministers. Mela would be conducted jointly by Kisan Jagaran and Navanirman Foundation. Several stalls would be installed to expose the farmers to new varieties of seeds, agricultural implements, fertilisers, and pesticides.
Navanirman Foundation president Rambabu said that the Kisan melas are being organised in Karimnagar district in the entire Telangana state, and farmers were informed of the opportunity by visiting in large numbers. Navanirman Foundation members Sai Jyothi, Gampa Jagan, Durgam Maruthi, JD Bhagawan, Taduri Brahmam, Kuragayala Tirupathi, Miryalkar Anand, Nagunuri Laxman, Narsimha Reddy, Satyanarayana Rao, Kumarm, Bridge Mohan Rathode, Basha Boina Pradeep and others were also present.
