KARIMNAGAR, JANUARY 03, 2026: Among 22 special guests from 11 Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS) of Telangana, for participation as special guests at the 77th Republic Day parade in New Delhi on January 26, 2026, six persons from three PACS of the integrated Karimnagar district have been invited as special guests by the government of India.
The selected PACS include: Gambhiraopet, Sultanabad and Nancherla. The members include Sandupatla Raji Reddy, Puram Vishnu Prasad Rao, Donapati Rajashekhar Reddy, Routhu Madhukar, Borugu Sowmya and Borogu Santosh.
The Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank has achieved a distinction in the country and emerged as a role model cooperative bank by winning several national awards from NABARD and NAFSCOB. The Karimnagar DCCB is the first cooperative bank in the country to implement computerisation of its bank and PACS in 2012. It had taken measures to diversify the business of PACS into multi-service centres (MSCs).
The Union Government has made special arrangements for accommodation and logistical support to ensure a comfortable and memorable experience for the invitees. “The Government of India is committed to recognising the achievements and contributions of citizens who play a key role in the country’s path toward prosperity,” the statement added.
This year’s Republic Day celebrations will also see the participation of around 10,000 Special Guests from across the nation, all of whom have excelled in their respective fields and are considered the architects of Swarnim Bharat.
