HYDERABAD, JUNE 23, 2025: ICAR-NAARM bagged first prize in the International Agriculture, Horticulture and Organic Expo 2025 organised at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from June 21-23, 2025. Harsh Malhotra, Union Minister of State for Corporate Affairs and Road Transport and Highways, presented the award during the ceremony in New Delhi. ICAR-NAARM was honoured with the award for its sustained excellence in Training, Learning and Capacity Building.
The NAARM exhibition stall attracted many visitors, and they keenly learned about NAARM and its activities and achievements. Dr. R Venkattakumar, Principal Scientist and Head, Extension Systems Management (XSM) division, Dr. S Siva Kumar, Principal Scientist, Research Systems Management Division, under the able guidance of Dr Gopal Lal, Acting Director, ICAR-NAARM, were instrumental in the successful conduct of the exhibition stall at the Expo, besides Dr Laxman Ahire and Mr Shekhar Reddy, CTOs, NAARM.
ICAR-NAARM participated in the Exhibition to showcase its achievements and activities pertaining to capacity building, academic programmes, research & policy advocacy and agribusiness incubation programmes. Meanwhile, the expo had a participation of more than 100 central and state government organisations serving for Agricultural development.
