Bank employees launch a campaign to increase deposits in the integrated Karimnagar district
KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 13, 2025: To attract customers and increase deposits, the Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank has announced the increase of interest rates on fixed deposits under the “Sowbhagya fixed deposit scheme’ offering 8 per cent interest for general public and 8.5 per cent for women and senior citizens on an 333 days deposit with effect from Monday (October 13, 2025).
Incidentally, the Karimnagar DCCB alone had increased the interest rates for its customers among all the commercial banks in the district.
In the meantime, all the bank staff members of the 71 branches spread across the integrated Karimnagar district have launched a campaign to increase deposits by educating various sections of society, including farmers. The employees have started their campaign in the early hours and are visiting the fields to educate the farmers and conducting door-to-door surveys in the villages and towns and educating the farmers about the importance of banking with KDCCB to reap riches with high interest rates.
The employees were seen educating the people about the importance of depositing and banking with KDCCB, which is providing all services on par with any commercial bank including UPI payments, quick money transfer through RTGS/ NEFT, SMS alerts etc. Stating that the Karimnagar DCCB had emerged as a role in the country for its services to all sections of society, the employees were informing the people about the bank providing loans for rural housing, vehicles, education, business activities and all the branches having locker facilities.
