
Distributes books and pens to the students to mark the birthday celebrations of its chairman, Konduru Ravinder Rao
KARIMNAGAR, JULY 11, 2025: As part of nationwide Financial Inclusion Campaign focusing on enrolment of more saving bank accounts and covering them in the social security insurance schemes of the Union government, the Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank conducted a financial inclusion porgramme at the Government Degree College for Women in Karimnagar town on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, DCCB chairman N Satyanarayana Rao said that the campaign spearheaded by the Department of Financial Services aims to achieve comprehensive financial inclusion at the grassroots level. He said the campaign aims to ensure that every individual student without a bank account gets one, including insurance coverage under PMJJBY and PMSBY.
He said that the Karimnagar DCCB, with 71 branches in the integrated Karimnagar district, had launched a special drive for the enrolment of a larger number of savings bank accounts during this special financial inclusion programme. He also appealed to the students to open accounts in KDCCB branches for the highest interest rates and top-class services on par with any commercial banks. He also informed the students that the DCCB alone was providing education loans to the students by mortgaging the agricultural lands.
He also explained the successful functioning of the Karimnagar DCCB under the leadership of its chairman Konduru Ravinder Rao for the last two decades, and emerged as a role model in the cooperative sector banking with transparent services without any political interferences.
On this occasion, the DCCB CEO distributed notebooks and pens to the students to mark the birthday celebrations of its chairman, Ravinder Rao. DCO Ramanuja Charyulu, College Principal D Varalaxmi, DCCB Managers K Sunil, H Prasoona, K Sumita Amaravathi, Pranitha Priyadarshini, Feroze Shaheen, Assistant Manager P Madhuri and others were also present.
Cake cutting at headquarters in Karimnagar
Earlier, the management had celebrated the birthday of its chairman, Ravinder Ra,o by cutting the birthday cake at the DCCB headquarters in Karimnagar town. Vice chairman P Ramesh, directors V Mohan Reddy, D Mohan Rao, Swami Reddy, A Tirupathi Reddy, Kamalakar, Krishna Prasad, B Gopal Rao and others, General manager B Sridhar, DGMs, AGMs, bank staff and others were also present.
