KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 17, 2024: Students of Blue Bells High School, Hanumannagar, Karimnagar, celebrated the Raksha Bandhan in a traditional manner and with great enthusiasm on Saturday.
Students presented colourful cultural programme and familiarized themselves with the customs and rituals followed on Raksha bandhan. They also showcased a lively enactment along with melodious songs on the occasion explaining the importance of the festival. The performance encompassed the varied emotions of affection, love, responsibility and sibling rivalries. Later, the girl students tied Rakhis to the boys and distributed sweets and wished them a healthy and wealthy life.
School principal Janga Sunitha Manohar Reddy appreciated the activities done by the students and encouraged them to understand the value of each festival deeply. RSS leaders Kamarapu Prasad and A Raju distributed rakhies to the students.
