KARIMNAGAR, JULY 19, 2024: Rich tributes were paid to leading businessman and philanthropist Kesarimal Karwa on the occasion of his 92nd birth anniversary celebrations in various parts of Karimnagar district on Friday.
His sons Bhagawandas Karwa and Venugopal Karwa and other family paid floral tributes to his memorial at Odyaram in Gangadhara mandal in Karimnagar district. They had donated food, sweets and cakes along with water bottles to the migrant brick kiln workers and their children in various parts of the district.
They made the migrant children cut the birthday cakes and celebrated the birth anniversary of Kesarimal Karwa with lots of joy and shared the cake among them. Various sections of society had also remembered Kesarimal Karwa for his charitable activities.
It is not an exaggeration to say that all sections of society has been touched by the generosity of Mr Karwa. “Kesarimal Seth saab was caring, kind and forward-thinking and we are grateful for his helping nature throughout his life. His children are also honouring Karwa’s legacy of helping the society and needy persons”, said the representatives of Lok Satta udyama samstha. It may be recalled that Mr Karwa played a crucial role as representative of Lok Satta voluntary organisation and crusaded against corruption along its founder N Srinivas.
People associated with Mr Karwa recollected the services rendered to the orphanages, government schools, poorer sections and bright students for their higher education.
