KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 30, 2024: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has alleged that the Congress government was adopting the same formula adopted by BRS in resorting to poaching of MLAs in the Telangana state.
Talking to newsmen in Karimnagar town on Sunday, Mr Sanjay said that the poaching of legislators was done by the BRS earlier and now the Congress party was following the same and termed it very unfortunate. He charged that the Congress was following the footsteps of BRS in the allocation of funds to the legislators and false propaganda on the privatization of the Singareni Collieries Company limited. Flaying the Congress government for non-allocation of funds to the BJP legislators for the development of the constituency, he said that the BJP legislators have won the elections with the support of the people.
What if the Centre adopts the same path like the Congress in the allocation of funds, he asked and added that the BJP government at the centre was providing all assistance for the development of the Telangana state and allocating the funds whenever Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and state ministers and Congress MPs met the Union Ministers.
Asked about the alliance with Jana Sena Party in Telangana state, the Union Minister said that the party high command would discuss and take a decision and he has no role in it. He also congratulated Indian Cricket Team for winning the T20 World Cup. Every Indian is feeling that he had won the match and celebrating the victory, he added.
