Invitation to Youth Aged 18–25 Years
The District Youth Officer invited all eligible young men and women aged between 18 and 25 years to participate in the district-level competitions. In particular, college students and other eligible youth were encouraged to make the best use of this valuable opportunity.
Theme: “One Nation, One Election”
The central theme for this year’s competition is “One Nation, One Election.” Participants are expected to express their views, ideas, and analysis on this subject in the true spirit of democracy.
Interested and eligible students must first register through the My Bharat Portal. Following registration, they should attend the district-level competitions scheduled for 10 November 2026 at SRR Government Arts and Science College (A), Karimnagar, and deliver a speech of at least three minutes on the prescribed theme, “One Nation, One Election.”
Talented participants selected at the district level will get an opportunity to participate in the subsequent state-level competitions. Those selected at the state level will have the opportunity to participate in the Youth Parliament programme at the Legislative Assembly.
This will enable students to gain firsthand knowledge of the democratic system, legislative proceedings, the law-making process, and the responsibilities of elected representatives.
A Platform for Youth Empowerment and Leadership
Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament is not merely a speech competition; it is a platform designed to nurture critical thinking, promote a culture of constructive discussion, encourage respect for diverse opinions, develop leadership abilities, and inspire responsible thinking about the future of the nation.
On this occasion, District Youth Officer G. Thirupathi Reddy called upon students from all colleges and eligible youth across Karimnagar district to participate in large numbers and showcase their talents. He encouraged young people to utilise this platform to bring out their hidden oratorical skills and excel at the state and national levels.
To ensure the successful conduct of the programme, the management of SRR Government Arts and Science College, in coordination with the NSS Department and the District Youth Department, is making the necessary arrangements.
