RAIPUR, OCTOBER 31, 2026: The birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was celebrated as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) on October 31, 2026, with the administration of a pledge at NTPC Nava Raipur.
Smt Sangita Dash, GM (P&S) and Shri Harsh Ahuja, ED (USSC – C&M) administered the “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge” to all employees in Hindi and English, respectively.
Speakers on the occasion remembered Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s contribution and decisive leadership to peacefully integrate over 550 princely states into the Indian Union, shaping the modern map of India.
The celebration highlights that India’s true strength lies in its “unity in diversity,” bringing together people of various religions, languages, and cultures under a shared national identity.
