WARANGAL, OCTOBER 26, 2027: Kakatiya University is observing Vigilance Awareness Week from October 26 to November 1 as per the government orders.
On Monday, In-charge Registrar and University Development Officer Prof. Y. Venkaiah administered the pledge to university employees, emphasising integrity, transparency, good governance, ethical conduct, and a firm commitment to eradicating corruption. Employees pledged not to give or accept bribes, to abide by relevant laws and regulations, and to act responsibly in addressing complaints and reporting irregularities.
OSD Prof. B. Venkata Ramareddy, Pharmacy Dean Prof. N. Prasad, Chemistry HoD Prof. N. Vasudeva Reddy, Microbiology HoD Sujatha, Sports Board Secretary T. Shastri, and other university employees participated in the programme.
KU Inter-College Men’s Sports Competitions from October 27–29
Kakatiya University Inter-College Men’s Sports Competitions (2026–27, Phase-II) will be held from October 27 to 29 at the University Arts & Science College, Subedari, informed Sports Board Secretary T. Shastri and Principal Prof. Sunkari Jyothi.
All participating teams must report to the college by 8:00 AM on October 27, attend the inaugural ceremony, and bring their respective college flags. The Vice-Chancellor will inaugurate the competitions as the Chief Guest. Teams must report to the concerned Section Secretary at least 15 minutes before their scheduled matches.
Accommodation will be provided to outstation teams from the evening of October 26. Meals will be available at the college canteen on a payment basis, subject to prior intimation.
The Cross-Country Race will be held at 6:00 AM on October 28. Participants must bring a medical fitness certificate and sports shoes.
