TIRUMALA, OCTOBER 17, 2026: Tirumala came alive with devotion and grandeur on Saturday evening as Sri Malayappa Swamy, taking the form of Govardhana Giridhara Sri Krishna, accompanied by Sri Devi and Bhudevi in the guises of Rukmini and Satyabhama, respectively, giving a rare and divine darshan to devotees.
Seated majestically atop the specially crafted Pushpa Vimanam, the deity showered His blessings on the thousands of devotees gathered along the Mada Streets.
The celestial sight was part of the sixth-day celebrations of the ongoing Navaratri Brahmotsavams at the sacred hill shrine of Tirumala.
The Pushpa Vimanam Seva holds special significance, as it is performed only once in three years during the Navaratri Brahmotsavams conducted in the auspicious Adhika Masa.

A Floral Marvel of Devotion:
The highlight of the evening was the magnificent Pushpa Vimanam, an extraordinary creation fashioned entirely from coconut-tree leaves.
Standing 24 feet tall, measuring 15 feet in length and 15 feet in width, and weighing nearly one tonne, the vahanam was a breathtaking blend of traditional craftsmanship and devotional artistry.
The structure was adorned with a wide variety of traditional flowers, creating a vibrant canopy fit for the Almighty of the Seven Hills.
Graceful idols of Sri Anjaneya Swamy and Sri Garudalwar embellished both sides of the vimanam, while depictions of deities from the four Yugas added profound mythological depth to the celestial chariot.
The creation of the Pushpa Vimanam was supported by Sri Ram Prasad Bhatt, a donor from Chennai.
TTD Executive Officer Sri Muddada Ravichandra, Additional Executive Officer Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary, CVSO Sri Muralikrishna, and several other officials participated in the sacred event.
