TIRUMALA, OCTOBER 13, 2026: The newly launched Venkatadri App is intended to provide devotees with comprehensive information on Tirumala services in a concise and user-friendly format, said the General Manager of TTD IT wing Sri Venkateswarulu Naidu.
Briefing media persons on IT wing activities at the Media Centre set up in Rambagicha-2 on Tuesday in Tirumala, he said, TTD has extensively leveraged information technology to enhance the Srivari Darshan experience through its AI-driven Command Control Centre.
TTD proposes to further strengthen traffic management at the Alipiri check-point by introducing an automated number-plate verification system.
In addition, a QR-code-based verification system has been enabled for gallery passes issued during the ongoing Brahmotsavams.
Clarifying concerns circulating on social media over the booking of ₹300 Special Entry Darshan (SED) tickets, Sri Naidu explained that the online quota was limited, while demand was nearly ten times higher.
He reiterated that TTD has been consistently identifying and blocking third-party websites that use automated form-filling and copy-paste tools to generate fake SED tickets.
Such fraudulent operations are being regularly detected, blocked and banned, he maintained.
He affirmed that TTD has deployed robust and reliable technology to facilitate devotees.
Devotees facing any difficulty or requiring clarification may contact the TTD helpline for assistance.
