Special decorations across 17 circles, 14 roads, 20 arches and eight parking areas
TIRUPATI, OCTOBER 09, 2026: TTD is making elaborate arrangements to illuminate Tirupati for the Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavams at Tirumala from October 12 to 20.
Reviewing the arrangements through a Zoom meeting on Friday, TTD JEO Dr. A. Sarat directed officials to ensure adequate facilities for the expected increase in pilgrim arrivals during the festival holidays.
Special electrical decorations will be arranged at TTD temples and buildings, major junctions including Garuda Circle and Nandi Circle, and roads leading from Tirupati to Alipiri. LED arches, display boards and floodlights will be installed at key locations and parking areas.
The JEO also instructed officials to ensure proper parking, sanitation, medical services, drinking water, toilets, Annaprasadam, security, public address systems and signboards. He stressed coordination among all departments to ensure a smooth and comfortable pilgrimage.
TTD CE Sri Manoharam, VGO Sri Giridhar, Annaprasadam Deputy EO Sri Selvam, Additional Health Officer Dr. Sunil Kumar, DE Sri Ravishankar Reddy and other officials participated in the meeting.
Conduct Navarathri Brahmotsavams with grandeur: Additional EO
TIRUMALA: The TTD Additional EO Sri Venkaiah Chowdary called upon the deputed officials and employees of TTD to work in coordination towards the successful conduct the Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavams on a grand note, akin to Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams held last month.
Addressing employees deputed for Brahmotsavam duties at Asthana Mandapam in Tirumala on Friday evening, he said the success of the Salakatla Brahmotsavams was the result of everyone’s efforts.
JEOs Dr Sharath, Sri Gopinath, CVSO Sri Murali Krishna and officials from various departments, Group supervisors from Srivari Seva attended the meeting.
