NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 07, 2026: The National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, has invited applications for admission to the Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) programme for the academic session 2026–27 at its flagship Nisarg Gram campus, Yewalewadi, Pune.
NIN, an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of AYUSH, is carrying forward the legacy and vision of Mahatma Gandhi by promoting Naturopathy and Yoga through healthcare, education, training and research. NIN is the first Central Government institution in the country to offer the BNYS programme in affiliation with a Central University, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, New Delhi. This marks a significant milestone in strengthening institutional education and academic standards in Naturopathy and Yoga.
The 5½-year full-time residential BNYS programme comprises 4½ years of academic and clinical training, followed by one year of Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI). The programme offers integrated academic education along with extensive clinical exposure in Naturopathy and Yoga. A total of 100 seats are being offered for the academic session 2026–27.
Candidates who have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English from a recognised Board and fulfil the prescribed eligibility and medical fitness requirements are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to candidates who have appeared for NEET-UG 2026. Any remaining vacant seats will be filled on the basis of 10+2 PCB merit, in accordance with the prescribed admission procedure and reservation norms.
The flagship Nisarg Gram campus, spread over 25 acres, houses a 250-bedded Naturopathy Hospital, academic and research facilities, separate residential hostels for boys and girls, state-of-the-art yoga halls and modern Naturopathy treatment infrastructure. The campus provides an integrated environment for education, clinical training, research and wellness.
The online application process commenced on 29 September 2026 and will close on 19 October 2026 at 5:00 PM. The provisional merit list is scheduled to be released on 27 October 2026, followed by the final merit/waiting list on 30 October 2026. Counselling is scheduled to be conducted on 12–13 November and 18–19 November 2026, while classes are scheduled to commence from 30 November 2026.
