KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 04, 2026: The Bathukamma celebrations, the cultural symbol of Telangana state, were held in a grand and enthusiastic atmosphere in the premises of the prestigious Trinity Main Campus Girls Junior College in Karimnagar. The college management, principals, faculty, students and their parents participated in these celebrations in large numbers.
The entire college premises took on a festive look with Bathukammas decorated with colourful flowers, women’s dances and cultural songs. The students came in traditional attire and sang and danced around the Bathukamma with devotion and joy.
On the occasion of these celebrations, the college dignitaries extended their special greetings to all: Founder Chairman Dasari Manohar Reddy said, “It is very heartwarming that the students are celebrating the Bathukamma festival, which is a symbol of Telangana culture and self-respect, with such enthusiasm. We all should preserve this great tradition of worshipping nature. My heartfelt Bathukamma and Dussehra greetings to all the students, their parents and teachers.”

Chairman Dasari Prashanth Reddy stated: “Along with studies, such celebrations contribute greatly to passing on our cultural values and traditions to future generations. It is commendable that all the members of the college family are celebrating this festival together in a festive atmosphere. Happy Dussehra and Bathukamma to everyone.”
Director Dasari Mamatha Reddy said: “Bathukamma is the only festival where flowers are considered as God and worshipped. It is very happy to see smiles on the faces of all our girls. Wishing the students to excel in all fields along with education, I extend my best wishes to all the college students and their parents on Bathukamma.”
