Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar inspects arrangements for the successful conduct of the visit of Mr Shah
KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 01, 2026: In the wake of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Karimnagar town on October 4 to attend the silver jubilee celebrations of Prathima Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar inspected the arrangements being made at PIMS in Nagunur on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Thursday.
Mr Bandi Sanjay Kumar along with Commissioner of Police Gaush Alam and management of PIMS inspected the works of Mr Amit Shah laying foundation stone for the construction of Prathima Deemed University building, Helipad site, silver jubilee pylon unveiling site, photo exhibition and venue where Mr Shah would address the medicos of the PIMS.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sanjay Kumar said that the PIMS buildings were inaugurated by then Home Minister LK Advani along with integrated Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Ch Vidyasagar Rao and others. He said that he was happy to be associated with Union Home Minister Amit Shah for the silver jubilee celebrations of PIMS.
Tour schedule of Amit Shah on October 4
Mr Sanjay said that Mr Amit Shah would arrive on the night of October 3 at Begumpet airport and night halt at Grand Kakatiya Hotel in Hyderabad. On October 4, Mr Shah would visit Toopran in Medak district to lay the foundation stone for the Amul/Sabar Dairy milk processing unit and plant at Urja industrial park in Brahmanapally at around 11 am. Later, he would interact with the local farmers.
After lunch in Toopran, Mr Shah would arrive at PIMS at around 2.30 pm and participate in the PIMS silver jubilee celebrations. He would proceed to Hyderabad at around 4.30 pm from PIMS campus.
Karimnagar Mayor Kolagani Srinivas, deputy mayor Sunil Rao, BJP district president Sayini Mallesham, PIMS MD Boinapalli Srinivasa Rao, Dr Chennamaneni Vikas Rao, Karimnagar BJP Parliament segment convenor Boinapalli Praveen Rao and others were also present.
