KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 24, 2026: The National Service Scheme (NSS) Formation Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at Vivekananda Degree and PG College in Karimnagar town on Thursday. The programme highlighted the importance of NSS in developing social responsibility, discipline, leadership qualities and a spirit of service among students.
College Principal Ch. Srinivas graced the programme and appreciated the NSS volunteers for their active participation in various social service activities conducted by the college.
NSS Programme Officer Dhanapuri Sagar addressed the volunteers and explained the objectives and significance of NSS. He encouraged students to actively participate in community service programmes and contribute to the development of society.
On the occasion, certificates were distributed to the NSS volunteers and winners who participated in various NSS activities and competitions. The Principal, ACO B Sampath Kumar, AO B Shravan Kumar, Ali Khan, NSS unit programme officers B. Mahesh and N Srinivas congratulated the volunteers and appreciated their dedication and commitment to social service.
