Sri Malayappa Swamy and his Consorts receive sacred abhishekham amidst divine grandeur
TIRUMALA, SEPTEMBER 21, 2026: The Ranganayakula Mandapam at Tirumala temple turned into a centre of divine splendour on Monday as the sacred Snapana Tirumanjanam was held for the Utsava deities of Sri Malayappa Swamy, Sridevi and Bhudevi with devotion and grandeur as part of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams.
Garlands of Pearls, Dry Fruits, Kus kus add extra glamour:
The processional deities blessed devotees in magnificent attire, adorned with exquisite garlands woven with white pearls, fragrant vetiver, Kuruveru, dry fruits, bangles, Anjeer betel nut leaves, Yellow rose petals, and button chrysanthemums.
The captivating fragrance of the sacred ingredients and the vibrant beauty of the flowers filled the mandapam with an atmosphere of devotion and festivity.
Holy Bath Amidst Sacred Chants:
The archakas performed the Abhishekam from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in accordance with Vaikhanasa Agama traditions.
The deities received a sacred bath with milk, curd, coconut water, honey, turmeric and sandalwood paste.
The Ranganayakula Mandapam reverberated with Upanishad and Dashashanti mantras, Purusha Suktam, Sri Suktam, Bhu Suktam, Neela Suktam and Narayana Suktam recited by TTD Veda Parayanadars.
After the Abhishekam, Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyangar and Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyangar Swamijis of Tirumala along with their disciples recited sacred pasurams, adding the spiritual magnificence to the ceremony.
TTD EO Sri Muddada Ravichandra, Additional EO Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary and other officials participated in the programme.
