JAGTIAL, SEPTEMBER 18, 2026: Alphores High Schools in Krishna Nagar and Shiva Veedi in Jagtial town offered a total of 108 varieties of prasadams (Maha Naivedhyam) separately to Lord Ganesha as the part of the ongoing nine-day Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations on Friday.
The prasadam offerings include sweets and savouries such as laddu, undrallu, modak, garelu, pulihora, curd rice, sira, pongali, payasam and others and were offered to Lord Ganesha as part of the Ganesh Chaturthi. The offering is part of a larger ritual called ‘Shodhashopachara’ that is performed to honour the deity.
Alphores Educational Institutions’ Chairman V Narender Reddy participated in the offerings to the deity. The school faculty members were also present.
