KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 12, 2026: Jyothishmathi Institute of Technology and Science (JITS), Karimnagar, celebrated the Freshers’ Day–2026 with great enthusiasm and vibrant celebrations, extending a warm and memorable welcome to the newly joined first-year B.Tech and Diploma students on Saturday.
The programme marked the beginning of a new chapter in the academic journey of the freshers. It created an atmosphere filled with joy, friendship, learning, fun, memorable experiences and aspirations for success. The celebrations provided an excellent platform for the new students to interact with their seniors, faculty members and fellow students and become an integral part of the JITS family.
The campus was filled with excitement and enthusiasm as students actively participated in various cultural and entertainment programmes. The Freshers’ Day celebrations reflected the spirit of unity, friendship and youthful energy, making the occasion a memorable beginning to their journey in higher education.
The Chairman, Sri J. Sagar Rao, conveyed his warm wishes to all the freshers and encouraged them to make the best use of the opportunities available at JITS. He advised the students to maintain discipline, develop strong technical skills, and strive for excellence in both academics and personal life.
The Secretary & Correspondent, Sri J. Sumith Sai, extended his best wishes to the newly admitted students and urged them to actively participate in academic, technical, sports and cultural activities. He encouraged the students to be confident, innovative and responsible members of society.
The programme concluded on a joyful and enthusiastic note, with students expressing happiness and excitement about beginning their new journey at JITS. Principal Dr. T. Anil Kumar, Dean (Academics & Audit) Dr. P. K. Vaishali, Heads of various Departments, faculty members and a large number of students participated in the Freshers’ Day celebrations, making the event a grand success.
