KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 11, 2026: Eminent film lyricist Suddala Ashok Teja has been selected for the state-level Burra Narsamma-Linga Reddy Memorial ‘Telangana Telugu Tejam’ literary award for the year 2026.
The award is presented by Telugu Bhasha Samrakshana Sangham – Telangana Literary Association. The selection committee chairman and founder of the award, Captain Burra Madhusudhan Reddy and the state president of Telugu Bhasha Samrakshana Sangham, Dasyam Senadhipathi, announced the award to Suddala Ashok Teja on Friday.
The award would be presented at Film Bhavan in Karimnagar town on September 22, 2026. Civil Supplies Director GV Shyam Prasad Lal would be the chief guest and present the award, which carries a cash prize, a memento and a citation. It may be mentioned here that Kendra Sahitya Academy Award Winner Nandini Siddha Reddy was presented with the award in the year 2025.
