
HYDERABAD, SEPTEMBER 06, 2026: A 10-member media delegation from Telangana has embarked on a week-long media tour of Gujarat from September 6 to 12, 2026, organised by the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Hyderabad. The delegation is being led by Varganti Gayathri, Media & Communication Officer (M&CO). The delegation arrived in Ahmedabad today and was welcomed by officials of PIB.
The primary objective of the media tour is to disseminate information about Central Government welfare schemes and development projects to a wider audience through journalists and to promote the exchange of developmental experiences between States. The tour also aims to provide journalists from Telangana with first-hand exposure to Gujarat’s development initiatives, flagship projects and achievements across various sectors.
During the tour, the media delegation will visit key projects and institutions, including the Sabarmati Riverfront, Dholera Special Investment Region (Dholera SIR), Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), Amul Dairy, Statue of Unity and Sardar Sarovar Dam. The journalists will also visit CEPT University, National Forensic Sciences University and Sabarmati Multimodal Hub, besides interacting with officials and other stakeholders.
