PEDDAPALLI, SEPTEMBER 03, 2026: Mandal Parishad Primary School in Ramaraopalli of Palakurthi mandal in Peddapalli district celebrated Janmashtami with religious fervour and gaiety on Thursday.
Tiny tots arrived in their best attire, and some others dressed as Lord Krishna, Radha and Gopikas and captivated the audience with their dancing performances. The students also attempted to break the traditional ‘utti’ (handi).
Headmaster Y Prathap Reddy highlighted the importance of the Janmashtami festival. Teachers Shymala Raor, K Anitha, Kanakathara, Divena and parents were also present.
Students who donned the roles of Sri Krishna include; Aadhithya, Vishal, Hansik, Sriman, Manideep, Ayansh, and Rithwik. The Gopikas include; Varshithavardhini,  Aradhya, Gangothri, Visista, Aadhyadri Adhya, Aradhya, Rishitha, Neha, Bless, Dhakshayani. Vishal from UKG emerged as the winner in the breaking of ‘handi’ (utti).
