Students celebrate the party with the theme of ‘Initium’ (beginning) with lots of enthusiasm
RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, AUGUST 27, 2026: The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Shatrajupalli, in Rajanna Sircilla, organised a freshers’ party at the college auditorium to welcome the fresh new faces of the first-year students on Thursday.
The theme of the party, ‘Initium’ (Beginning), was celebrated with great enthusiasm to warmly welcome the newly admitted students to the college.
The party began with a blast of activities, and the first event was the welcome dance (Classical). The students of all classes gave beautiful cultural performances, which were a mixture of Western, Telangana folk and popular film numbers, along with a special fashion show.
The faculty members stated that the Freshers’ Party provided the newly joined students with a wonderful opportunity to introduce their talents and express themselves confidently. They emphasised that such programmes help students adapt to the college environment while fostering friendship, unity, team spirit and self-confidence among them.
The students participated enthusiastically and celebrated the occasion with great joy and excitement. The faculty expressed their hope that INITIUM would mark the beginning of a positive and memorable new chapter in the college life of the freshers.
The programme was attended by Principal P.S.R. Sharma, Vice Principal K. Lavanya, Cultural Committee Coordinator S. Sandhyarani, Sujitha, Arpitha and Pallavi, faculty members and students.
The Freshers’ Party concluded successfully in a vibrant and joyful atmosphere.
