Maha Purnahuti and Maha Samprokshanam performed as per Agama traditions
Darshan of Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Swamy resumes for devotees
TIRUPATI/DEVUNI KADAPA, AUGUST 26, 2026: Ashtabandhana Maha Samprokshanam of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Devuni Kadapa was performed in a grand and devotional manner on Wednesday as per Agama traditions. TTD EO Sri Muddada Ravichandra participated in the sacred ceremony.
As part of the renovation rituals, Chatushthanarchana, Murthi Homam and Prayaschitta Homam were performed at 7 am. From 9.45 am to 11.30 am, Maha Purnahuti, Maha Samprokshanam and Kalakarshana were performed by the temple priests during Shravana Nakshatra and Tula Lagna.
Amid Vedic chants and auspicious temple music, the Maha Samprokshanam was performed with devotion. Special prayers were offered for the restoration of the sanctity and glory of the temple.
Following the Maha Samprokshanam, darshan of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy resumed for devotees.

TTD EO Offers Prayers at Vontimitta Temple
Earlier, TTD EO Sri Muddada Ravichandra offered prayers to Sri Kodandarama Swamy at Ontimitta. The temple priests accorded him a traditional welcome and performed special rituals. He was later presented with Teertha Prasadam.
The priests explained to the EO the spiritual and historical significance of the temple.
JEO Dr. A. Sharath, Temple Deputy EO Smt. A. Prashanthi, AEO Sri Ravi, Superintendent Sri Hanumanthayya, Temple Inspector Sri Eshwar Reddy, temple priests and other officials participated.
