Snapana Tirumanjanam at Alwar Theertham in Kapila Theertham
TIRUPATI, AUGUST 26, 2026: The Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple, Tirupati, will observe the sacred Shravana Upakarma on August 28 on the occasion of Shravana Pournami, as per Agama traditions.
At 6.30 am, Sri Govindaraja Swamy and Sri Krishna Swamy will be taken in a ceremonial procession to Alwar Theertham at Kapila Theertham, where Snapana Tirumanjanam and Asthanam will be performed.
Later, from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm, Sri Bhudevi-sametha Govindaraja Swamy will be offered Asthanam at the Sri Vaikhanasacharya Temple on R.S. Mada Street. The deities will then return to the main temple.
TTD appeals to devotees to participate in the sacred Shravana Upakarma and seek the divine blessings of Lord Govindaraja Swamy.
