KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 25, 2026: The biggest harvest festival in Keralam, Onam, celebrates nature’s reward after a year of hard work by farmers. It also marks the homecoming of the legendary King Mahabali.
Students of the Alphores e-techno school, Kothapalli, in Karimnagar town, celebrated the Onam festival with traditional fervour and gaiety on Tuesday. The school was colourfully decorated with flower decorations (Pookkalam) to mark the harvest festival of Keralam. The students arrived in their traditional classic Kerala wear.
Launching the celebrations by lighting the lamp, Alphores Educational Institutions Chairman V Narender Reddy apprised the students about the importance of the Onam festival. Students presented cultural dance forms of Keralam state on the occasion. The students took away a message of oneness and brotherhood that the festival signifies.
