TIRUMALA, AUGUST 22, 2026: The Ankurarpanam ritual in connection with the three-day annual Pavitrotsavams was observed in Tirumala on Saturday evening.
As a part of it, Sri Vishwaksena, the commander-in-chief of Sri Venkateswara Swamy, was taken to Vasanta Mandapam, and the rituals of Mritsangrahanam for Ankurarpanam were performed.
The TTD Additional EO Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdhary, CV&SO Sri Murali Krishna, Temple Dy EO Sri Lokanatham, and other officials and religious staff were present.
Meanwhile, TTD has cancelled the Sahasra Deepalankara Seva in connection with this fete.
