RAMAGUNDAM, AUGUST 20, 2026: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, NTPC Ramagundam & Telangana have donated 171 bicycles to Class IX girl students from eight schools of Ramagundam Mandal at ZPHS (Girls), Ashoknagar, Godavarikhani, on Thursday.
Ramagundam legislator Makkan Singh Raj Thakur participated as chief guest and distributed the bicycles to the students and also pedalled the cycle along with the students. The initiative aims to support girls in pursuing their education by facilitating easier and safer access to schools, thereby encouraging regular attendance and reducing commuting challenges. The Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Ramagundam Municipal Corporation, Corporators, school teachers and other dignitaries also participated in the programme.
