KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 15, 2026: The Mankammathota Munnuru Kapu Sangham of Karimnagar town celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour at Sapthagiri colony in Karimnagar town on Saturday.
Munnuru Kapu Sangham Mankammathota president Muppidi Sunil Kumar hoisted the national flag and recited the national anthem. Earlier, the celebrations included the rendering of the national song Vande Mataram. He paid tributes to the freedom fighters on the occasion.
Former Municipal Corporator Digigala Mahesh, sangham elders Mangu Narasimhadri, Palle Ramachandram, Ramesh Nelakonda, Kalpana, Kuragayala Tirupati, Palle Ramchandram, Annam Devender, Kante Shankar, Kanjalla Renuka, Edla Mallesham, Katakam Ramulu, Kotha Sridhar Sripathi and others were also present.
