KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 15, 2026: Trinity – The School of Learning, Salehnagar, Karimnagar, celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great patriotic fervour, pride, leadership, and team spirit on Saturday. The celebrations included a grand Independence Day Celebration, Cabinet Investiture Ceremony, and Inter-House Group Dance Competition.
The Chief Guest and Academic Director of Trinity Educational Institutions, Dr. Dasari Mamatha Reddy, along with Principal  Ratnamala Behara, proudly hoisted the National Flag in the presence of students, teachers, and parents. This was followed by the National Anthem and the Flag Salute, which filled the entire school campus with a strong sense of patriotism and national pride. A large number of parents attended the celebrations and enthusiastically witnessed the proceedings.
Addressing the gathering, the Academic Director recalled the great struggles and sacrifices of the freedom fighters who fought for India’s independence. She emphasised that it is our collective responsibility to carry forward their dreams, ideals, and values to future generations.
She stated that India belongs to every citizen, and that every individual has the right to express their views, think freely, question, contribute to the nation’s development, and shoulder the responsibility of protecting the country. She expressed her deep appreciation for the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force for their selfless service and dedication to safeguarding the nation. She also remembered and paid respectful tribute to every brave soul who sacrificed their life for the country.

The Cabinet Investiture Ceremony was an important and proud moment for the student leaders of Trinity. The Academic Director honoured the newly elected Student Council members by presenting them with badges, sashes, and flags. The Principal administered the oath of office to the newly elected leaders.
Following the oath-taking ceremony, the newly appointed Cabinet members participated in a disciplined ceremonial parade and saluted the Chief Guest. The ceremony reflected the values of leadership, discipline, responsibility, commitment, and service among the students.
The Inter-House Group Dance Competition added colour, energy, and excitement to the celebrations. Students from all four houses showcased their exceptional talent, creativity, coordination, and enthusiasm through vibrant and energetic performances.
The performances beautifully reflected the spirit of teamwork, unity, healthy competition, and cultural expression, making the competition an enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone.
Adding further grandeur to the celebrations, students from Grades 6 to 9 presented a spectacular pyramid formation, which mesmerised the parents and received enthusiastic appreciation from the audience.
The grand Independence Day celebrations concluded successfully with a strong sense of patriotism, national pride, joy, unity, and togetherness. The programme was followed by the distribution of sweets to the students. The celebrations served as a memorable reminder of the values of freedom, leadership, discipline, teamwork, and love for the nation.
