KARIMNAGAR, JULY 27, 2026: The three-day CBSE Cluster–VII Boys and Girls Kabaddi Championship–2026, jointly organised by Vivekananda Residential School, Karimnagar and Sister Nivedita School, Hyderabad, concluded on a grand note on Monday. A large number of CBSE-affiliated schools from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana participated in the tournament, displaying exceptional sportsmanship throughout the competition.
The closing ceremony witnessed the felicitation of winners and runners-up teams, who were presented with trophies, medals, certificates of appreciation, and cash prizes. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sudhakar Rao Polsani, Chairman of Vivekananda School, and Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari, Academic Director, advised students to accept both victory and defeat with equanimity and to practice discipline, team spirit, and sportsmanship in their daily lives.
The organisers expressed gratitude to all the referees, coaches, teachers, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to the successful conduct of the tournament. The three-day event, filled with thrilling matches, served as a platform for students to showcase their talent and garnered praise from all quarters.
The championship concluded on a high note with cultural programmes and the singing of the national anthem, marking the successful end of the CBSE Cluster–VII Kabaddi Championship–2026.
