HYDERABAD, JULY 24, 2026: In a remarkable stride towards enhancing education and child nutrition, the Hare Krishna Movement Charitable Foundation (HKMCF) has partnered with two esteemed organisations—Divi’s Laboratories Ltd & Aurobindo Pharma Ltd — to establish state-of-the-art centralised community kitchens at Choutuppal and Sangareddy, along with a kitchen upgradation at Kodangal. This marks a significant milestone in the Telangana Government’s ongoing mission to combat classroom hunger and promote quality education by providing hygienic, nutritious breakfasts daily to all the government school children of Telangana state.
Divi’s Laboratories Limited‘s Support for Establishing a Centralised Community Kitchen at Choutuppal
Divi’s Laboratories Limited extended its support to HKM Charitable Foundation by sponsoring the establishment of a state-of-the-art greenfield centralised kitchen at Choutuppal, with a generous contribution of ₹12.18 Crores. This kitchen will enable feeding nutritious breakfasts to 60,000 children across 1,234 schools & junior colleges spanning 31 Mandals of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri & Nalgonda districts, bringing quality nutrition to the doorstep of communities where Divi’s has operated for over decades.
Aurobindo Pharma Limited’s Support for Establishing a Centralised Community Kitchen at Sangareddy and Upgrading the Kitchen at Kodangal
With a generous contribution of ₹10 Crores, Aurobindo Pharma Ltd is sponsoring a new state-of-the-art brownfield centralised kitchen at Sangareddy along with centralised kitchen upgradation at Kodangal, which will enable feeding breakfast to 85,000 children across 1,264 schools & junior colleges spanning across 43 Mandals of Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Narayanpet & Mahabubnagar districts, extending the reach of quality nutrition and contributing to improved learning outcomes in the region.
These contributions demonstrate a deep-rooted belief in the power of nutrition to transform education & learning outcomes and reflect confidence in Hon’ble Chief Minister’s vision that no child in Telangana shall be deprived of education because of hunger.
During a special ceremony today, Sri Madhu Babu, Vice-President of Divi’s Laboratories Limited, Sri P. Sarath Chandra Reddy, Director, Aurobindo Pharma Ltd; Director, Aurobindo Pharma Foundation, Sri S. Sadananda Reddy, Director, CSR, Aurobindo Pharma Foundation and Sri K. Nityananda Reddy, Vice-Chairman & Managing Director of Aurobindo Pharma Limited and Director of Aurobindo Pharma Foundation, handed over Cheques to the President of HKM Charitable Foundation, Sriman Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Swamiji, in the gracious presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, Sri Anumula Revanth Reddy garu.
