Karimnagar district commissionerate tops in medals list in Zone 3
KARIMNAGAR, JULY 15, 2026: The Karimnagar Commissionerate of Police have bagged 11 medals at the fifth Telangana State Police sports meet and emerged topper in Zone-3. Among the participants, two persons had gold medals, four silver medals and five bronze medals.
The winners of various medals include: P Rajau (PC G No 3106), gold medal in 90 kgs bodybuilding, AR PC S Narender (G No 296), silver medal in 856 kgs bodybuilding, PC Md Wahajuddin (G No 3940), silver medal in 80 kgs bodybuilding.
AR PC A Shankar (G No 984) won a gold medal in Yoga competitions. AR PC V Sai Madhav (G No 3687) silver medal in Arms wrestling and bronze medal in 55 kgs boxing competitions.
PC J Srinivs (G No 1658) secured a bronze medal in 81 kgs Judo competitions, Women PC A Swapna (G No 3088) secured a silver medal in arm wrestling, Women PV M Aruna (G No 47) bagged three bronze medals in 77 kgs boxing, weight-lifting and power lifting competitions.
In zone 3, Karimnagar commissionerate bagged 11 medals, Siddipet commissionerate bagged five medals, Rajanna-Sircilla district 3 medals, Kamareddy district bagged two medals, and Medak district bagged two medals.
On this occasion, Karimnagar Commissioner of Police Gaush Alam congratulated the medal winners and wished them good luck in their future endeavours.
