KARIMNAGAR, JULY 04, 2026: Alphores School of Gen Next in Karimnagar town conducted student council elections on Saturday. The students enthusiastically participated in the democratic process of voting to elect their leaders.
The students exercised their franchise by showing identity cards as voters’ ID to elect the school cabinet, including Captains and Vice captains for four houses, viz Saras, Tejas, Laksh and Druva. A festive atmosphere prevailed on the school campus with the student contestants campaigning rigorously, explaining the election manifestos by displaying their election symbols. The polling staff mark indelible ink on their fingers.
Some of the students donned the role of police personnel regulating the queue lines, and others acted as polling observers, videographing the entire proceedings. Above all, the election process was completed in a democratic process smoothly. The students were explained the importance of direct elections in a democracy to elect the public representatives.

The counting of votes would be completed in a day or two, and the results would be declared later. Alphores Educational Institutions chairman V Narender Reddy acted as the chief election commissioner and educated the students about the importance of voting and supervising the smooth conduct of elections.
He emphasised the significance of elections in a democratic setup and encouraged students to exercise their right to vote responsibly. He also explained that conducting elections at this stage helps students understand the democratic process and develop leadership qualities.
