Doctors’ Day: Awareness Session on Health, Hygiene, and Stress Management conducted at St George International School (CBSE)

KARIMNAGAR, JULY 01, 2026: St George International School (CBSE) in Karimnagar town organised a special awareness session on health, hygiene and stress management for its students on the occasion of Doctors’ Day celebrations on the school premises on Wednesday.

The chief guest for the programme was Dr Muddhasani Pridhvi Reddy, M.D. Psychiatrist, District Mental Health Program (DMHP), DM & HO, NMHP Department, Karimnagar, who addressed the students on the importance of health, hygiene, and mental well-being.

During the session, Dr Pridhvi Reddy explained the precautions students should take to protect themselves from seasonal illnesses, especially during the rainy season. He emphasised the importance of maintaining personal hygiene, washing hands regularly, consuming hygienic and nutritious food, drinking adequate water, and keeping their surroundings clean to prevent diseases.

He also delivered an insightful talk on Stress Management, encouraging students to give equal importance to their mental health along with academics. He highlighted that positive thinking, effective time management, adequate rest, regular physical exercise, yoga, and meditation play a significant role in reducing stress and promoting overall well-being.

Dr.Pridhvi Reddy interacted with the students by answering their questions and motivating them to adopt a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the school, P Fathima Reddy, expressed her gratitude to Dr Muddhasani Pridhvi Reddy for creating awareness among the students on the occasion of Doctors’ Day. As a token of appreciation, the school’s Principal and staff felicitated him. The programme was attended by the Principal, Priyadarshini, teachers, and students.
