JAGTIAL, JUNE 30, 2026: P Indira Devi has assumed full additional charge as the Principal of SKNR Government Arts & Science College, Jagtial, today on the occasion of the superannuation of the existing Principal, Prof. A. Ashok.
A programme was organised on this occasion to mark the retirement of Prof. A. Ashok and B. Prabhu. The faculty members and non-teaching staff congratulated them on their superannuation and conveyed their heartfelt wishes for a happy and healthy future.
Addressing the gathering, Indira Devi expressed her happiness and privilege to work in the prestigious 60-year-old institution. She stated that she would strive to advance the college’s overall development by focusing on academic excellence, quality education, and student welfare. She assured that she would work with the cooperation and coordination of the faculty and staff to strengthen the academic environment and provide better opportunities for students.
The retiring Principal, Prof. A. Ashok, expressed his gratitude to the faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students for their support and cooperation during his service period.
The programme was attended by College Vice Principal Prof. A. Srinivas, NCC Officer Lt. P. Raju, GVR Sai Madhukar, A. Govardan, K. Surender, K. Srinivas, non-teaching staff members B. Prabhu, Neeraja, Laxman, Peddirajam, Ganga Raju, Muzahid, Isaac, and others. Friends and relatives of Prof. A. Ashok and B. Prabhu also participated in the programme and conveyed their best wishes.
