TIRUPATI, JUNE 26, 2026: The annual Teppotsavams of Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple, Tiruchanoor, commenced grandly on Thursday. On the first day, Sri Krishna Swamy, along with Sri Rukmini and Satyabhama Devi, blessed devotees with a divine float procession in the Padma Sarovaram, circling the sacred tank three times.
Earlier, a special Abhishekam was performed to Sri Krishna Swamy with milk, curd, honey, sandalwood, and other fragrant substances.
In the evening, the beautifully decorated float festival was held amid devotional fervour, drawing a large number of devotees. Later, Sri Krishna Swamy was taken in a procession through the four Mada Streets.
Devotional music and cultural programmes organised as part of the festivities also captivated the devotees.
TTD JEO Dr. A. Sharath, DyEO Sri Harindranath, temple officials, priests, Srivari Sevaks, and a large number of devotees participated in the event.
