GODAVARIKHANI, JUNE 25, 2026: To raise awareness against the drug menace, the Sacred Heart High School, Godavarikhani in Peddapalli district, conducted an awareness programme on the ill effects of drugs for the high school students on Thursday.
The session was led by NCC First Officer Jyothsna, who highlighted the harmful effects of drug abuse on youth through informative videos and discussions. Sharing some experiences with the students and motivating them to take a vow not to indulge in such activities, Jyothsna encouraged them to be active members of the campaign throughout their lives.
Principal Sister Arogya Mary encouraged the students to take a stand against drugs and inspired them to lead healthy and responsible lives. The NCC Cadets actively participated in the programme by preparing informative charts and impactful slogans to spread awareness about the dangers of drug abuse.
The session was highly educational and motivated students to contribute towards creating a drug-free society.
