TIRUPATI, MAY 30, 2026: The annual Rathotsavam of Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple was conducted with great grandeur on Saturday, the eighth day of the Brahmotsavams.
Thousands of devotees enthusiastically pulled the majestic chariot through the temple streets amid continuous chants of “Govinda, Govinda,” creating a spiritually vibrant atmosphere across Tirupati.

The sacred chariot procession symbolised the philosophical message of self-realisation, portraying the body as a chariot and the soul as its master. Devotees offered coconuts and camphor harathi throughout the route.

Later, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the processional deities. In the evening, the Lord will bless devotees on the Ashwa Vahanam.
As part of the Brahmotsavams, Chakrasnanam will be observed at Kapila Theertham on May 31.
