RAMAGUNDAM, MAY 29, 2026: Singareni Chairman & Managing Director Dr. Buddhaprakash Jyoti visited the Singareni Thermal Power Plant (STPP) at Jaipur Mandal on Friday and reviewed the progress of the ongoing construction works of the new 800 MW Thermal Power Unit.
During the inspection, the CMD directed the concerned officials to ensure the timely completion of the project as per the scheduled targets. He emphasised the importance of maintaining quality standards and adhering to the project timeline to strengthen Singareni’s power generation capacity.
As part of the visit, Dr. Buddhaprakash Jyoti planted a sapling on the plant premises and inaugurated the Rescue Safety Control Room. He also reviewed the performance and progress of the thermal and solar power projects being undertaken by the company and held discussions with officials on various operational and developmental aspects. Directors of SCCL and senior officials accompanied the CMD during the inspection.
